PSY 6430: Personnel Selection and Placement

This course is designed to teach students: (1) the professional and legal requirements for personnel selection systems, including equal opportunity employment laws; (2) how to design and conduct job analyses that meet legal and professional requirements; (3) how to assess the relative adequacy and feasibility of different selection procedures (application blanks, interview, ability tests, training and experience evaluations, drug testing, honesty testing, etc.); and (4) how to design and evaluate the adequacy of personnel selection systems.
